Wings Agency was founded in 1967 by Hobart "Bud" Montee. As a career aviator and insurance executive, Bud identified the need to establish an independent insurance brokerage which understood the specialized insurance requirements of the aviation industry.

Bud’s daughter, Jennifer Montee-Heins, began working with her father at Wings Agency when he opened the business in 1967.   When Bud retired in 1985, Jenny continued to operate Wings Agency. Jenny now has over 35 years of experience in aviation insurance and is a licensed insurance broker in 12 states.

In an industry that has seen many agencies come and go, Wings Agency has successfully grown into the regional aviation insurance agency it is today. Wings owes its success to industry knowledge, thorough marketing and personalized customer service.
